I'm still disturbed that South Florida was overlooked this tour.

Bruce certainly does the last one for Gazza.

Now this is interesting, very interesting.

There are already rumours flying around that the Stones might do Glastonbury, towards the end of June. And I think that they will play Wembley Stadium next year too. Usually when Wembley is set up for concerts they have a few in a row. Know what I'm thinking.....?

I hope Springsteen and the Stones will meet up and do some songs together. That would be cool

It pisses me off, even Bruce goes for the bigger crowds.
Nijmegen, Holland holds about 60000 people.
i´d prefer a smaller gig, maybe 30000 people.

without Clarence Clemons is the E-Street-Band never the same again.

That is true, and was what many people thought at the beginning of this tour. And I honestly wasn't gonna see a show, except that the show I tried getting tickets for I got lucky and got right next to the stage. So I thought "fine, I can't not take this ticket." It may be hard to believe, but Bruce wiped all my doubts away. The tributes to Clarence and Danny are very well done, and while there's a missing element, his nephew is really really great (and I had my major doubts that he got the job just because he was family), as is the rest of the horn section. Astoundingly, the band has really upped the ante from last tour, and Bruce is better than he has been in years. Best consistent voice in a LONG time, insane amounts of energy for his age, switching the sets up just as much as he always does. If Clarence is the reason you wouldn't see a show, I would seriously reconsider. As a major fan for decades, it would have killed me in retrospect had I not gotten that ticket earlier this year and missed seeing this tour in person.

It won't happen, but I know a song Bruce and the Stones could meet up and perform:

Not a great version IMO, and not really his type of song, but I give him props for doing something special for London.

Just saw Bruce last week here in Portland, OR. Amazing show. Played over 3 hours, and about half the songs he played were audience requests. His energy level is amazing... Must see, and the Big Man's nephew did a fantastic job filling those shoes.

goinghome, saw him a couple days prior in Vancouver and I agree with your statement! Also, Cindy Mizel, who sang on the Steel Wheels tour is one of the backup singers.

Yeah its an all standing gig. Kings Hall holds about 7,000 and is an old exhibition centre with crappy acoustics thats hardly used for gigs now as we have the newer, better and bigger Odyssey Arena - but the 'arena' as theyre calling it is on the site of the Balmoral Showgrounds..its really pretty much a 'field' show, but a smallish one (around 20-25,000 apparently). I think Lady Ga Ga will be playing there (or already has) - otherwise I'm not aware of it having been used for a gig of that scale before.

Did I read on facebook that there may be a show in Istanbul on May 20th? That would be quite something - I'd be amazed if he has an audience there, though. Even the Stones struggled to sell tickets when they played there in 1998.
