Just wanna know...........

did the Stones, during the past 02 shows, make any hints about a 2013 tour.

No mention at all. BUT, they've never made any secret of the fact that these five shows were a sort of "suck it and see" exercise, and given the unanimously good reviews for the two London shows, it has to be quite likely that they'll do more shows in 2013. Question is - WHERE ?

Guess a short Europe tour (Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, Rome for example), maybe one in Asia, Ausralia and back to the US for a couple of shows.

Anyway, I hope so..!

Rumour from the camp is a Recidency Tour - several shows in a few big cities; Tokyo, New York, London, LA etc. Its the travelling that sucks energy. From the band that is.

and keeping any tour short, with plenty of time off between gigs.

hope they do glasgow, if not london again.

yes, Jagger mentioned something in a recent interview as I remember saying the London and NY-gigs just beeing the first gigs ("they are just the first gig"s which has of cause double meaning)

Everybody who saw the London shows will fully agree that all production, videos, special iphone app to vote for songs to play, stage design... is far over the top to be used just only for four gigs (and that they are able to deliver!). I think this is the strongest indication that more will follow in 2013 (I am curious for an announcement and ticket sales to start before Christmas)

Perhaps the locations given in [www.rollingstones.com] might be an indication?

My opinion is that there will be a tour, and Mick is waiting for the PPV concert to announce it to Stones Nation.

I don't think it will be a "tour" per say with dates all around the US or Europe like they used to do. Frankly it doesn't make sense at this point in time, people who want to see them will just pick the closest spot, as it happened in London already.

They'll have to deal with the fact that they won't be able to make as much money on 4/5 dates like they just have though, hopefully that won't be a problem for their "egos" and give them the impression they're "retreating". A way to make up for it would be to do 4/5 shows in stadiums, where their take could be similar given the sheer numbers, but would the stage scale to a stadium setting? It seems "flexible" to some extent, i.e.it could be widened and deepened.

But yes, there's no reason to think they'll call it quits after these five shows and pack it in for good...unless they want to be certain to end on the highest possible note.

If the Stones do tour in the U.S. in 2013, I think it will be limited to a few arenas (MSG for certain) and mostly stadiums in NY/NJ, Chicago, Las Vegas and LA. If we are really lucky and the Stones decide to go all out, and lower ticket prices, they may even do shows in Boston, Philly and maybe, just maybe, even Atlanta.

I'm guessing there will be a tour. It will announced AFTER they finish selling the seats for the USA shows. Otherwise it would take the "got to have it at any price" incentive away for Newark and Brooklyn. peace
