Since I'm big on useless trivia I was wondering if anyone had seen numbers on the estimated number of people who've seen the Stones live over the past 50 years? If not I'll try to dig out some numbers of the tours since 1989 as that should represent a good majority (60, 75% ?) of the total viewers due to their sheer length. Then of course you'd have to somehow account for the crazy repeat viewers like us ;-)

I would dare around 25 Millions +

More than 2000 shows :
1000 shows during the sixties (1500 per show) = 1 500 000
1000 shows after (30 000 per show) = 30 000 000

Total = 31 500 000

This question has been discussed here and I think the general consensus is around 33-35 million.

If you add in the TV appearances, video and DVD sales, movie theatre and cable runs, as well as PPVs, it's got to be....
