I've read that John was expected by George but did *not* show up at the show, which offended George.

I read the same thing about Lennon not going to George's concert.

And Lennon was furious about George not wanting to include Yoko at the Concerts for Bangladesh. But good for George, Yoko wouldn't have offered much there...and it was an amazing concert.

Yeah, very interesting comment by George, especially considering that John had just performed with Elton at MSG a few weeks earlier!

The last time all four Beatles were even in the same room was on August 22, 1969. John and Paul had a little jam session, of sorts, on March 28, 1974, embarrassingly preserved on the "A Toot And A Snore In '74" bootleg.

John attended George's concert at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island on December 15, 1974. He did not go to the show at MSG six days later, but saw George at a post concert party, which is where their joint interview was taped.
