Jumpin' Jack Flash & Honky Tonk Woman......two "elite" rock standards for the ages......and launched the Stones into a new musical era.....with no disrespect to the greatness & importance of Satisfaction

Without any doubt for all it represents for one generationr, i.e. their banner : "Satisfaction". Now, they could with great value reread the lyrics of " Under West Coast Promotion Man" . Thanks Mr.Cohl

Brown Sugar gets the nod for me - it's got everything ya need. I think it's a little more complete and satisfying than runner-up JJF (they both have the killer riff, but you've got that sexy sax in BS and the yeah-yeah-yeah-woo bit and the classic ending - all those kinda things are missing from JJF).

I have to go with either Satisfaction or Jumpin' Jack Flash. Both of 'em are MONSTER singles! Very hard to pick just one!

Best single? Tie:

HTW/YCAGWYW - Two absolute classics on one slab of plastic. Wow.

Brown Sugar/Bitch - Nastiest number one ever. both sides just cook.

By the way, on "Ruby Tuesday", Brian plays a recorder, not a flute.

I would have to say, without a doubt Jumping Jack Flash was the best single they ever released.

Satisfaction got catapulted them to the top but JJF brought them to another level.

In my mind JJF is THE perfect rock song. Killer riff, great Lyrics, great chorus and possibly the coolest sounding chord sequence.

Did you ever notice that Charlie did not use any cymbals on the original recording?
