Going London from Spain for Stones Nov 25th.
Perhaps it's a prosaic question but.... very important for me:drinking smiley
In Spain you can get all the beer you want in the bars inside the arena, the same in UK?

You can buy beer in the bars and drink, but I don't think you can take it back to drink in your seat.

Most arenas in the UK let you take your drinks to your seat as long as they are in a plastic cup.

Have you decided during which song you're going to the restroom?

In the Odeon Leics they were selling bottles inside the cinema (£4 a small bottle of bud) and you could drink in your seat.

I've always survived on a little water during Stones shows. Hate to spend time at the loo with such ticket prices. I'll be at the thursday London show anyways...

Thanx you all.
Well, ain't standing tickets. So, I'll go to my seat in the last 30 minutes or so. Till then, I'll be in the nearest bar, with a f**** huge simile in my face...

Anyway, before entering the Arena, I'll have my beers in any pub with my "gin soaked barroom queen" (first time seeing the Stones for her, big surprise).
I'll have a drink on all the real fans who couldn't afford a ticket or have decided not to go... All my respect for them... smileys with beer

Any supportin' band scheduled? Maybe Sex Pistols (Filthy Lucre Tour)??

£400 a ticket

20 songs if youre lucky

That 2-song piss break will cost you £40.

Thats a very expensive couple of pints!

Although if you think of it another way - at £20 per song that works out about £3 for a guitar solo. That's £1 per note if it's a Keith solo. Bargain!!

My calculation is as follows:
400 for 2 hours is 200 per hour. That's the same my lawyer charged me to get custody of the kids. That was a lot more hours and it worked. So it's a bargain.

THere won't be any beers or booze in the venue. Canapés and champagne on the other hand...

i went to the last gig in 2007, at the 02 centre and when i went through security and upstairs to the concourse area just outside the arena there were bars selling booze in plastic containers.

i took a beer to my seat, and half way through the concert, went and got another 2, nearly tipped the lot over the people in front of me, luckily i managed to save the beers and chilled out for the rest of the gig.

beer in 1 hand and camera in other.

1 beer then was £3.50, probably over £5 now.

Be warned, Spain 73. There are some Englishmen who prefers their beer lukewarm, stale and black. Stay away from those. Order a lager, that's as close you're gonna get a proper Continental Europe pilsner (or una Cerveza).

For me it's always when 'Miss You' starts, that I leave my seat immediately.
