I want to be in the Tongue Pit ! £950...damn, well dunno if it's the last time ever, it's only money, right ? Too bad that doesn't get you a meet and greet with Chuck or viewing of the soundcheck...

So where are these VIP packages up for sale ?

Thanks, unfortunately (or fortunately...) you have to buy a pair, what's up with that?

Oh and it's £950+VAT so £1140 really...

Based on what's posted above no pit tickers will be sold separately?

Wow... selling double occupancy only... ouch
Someone said maybe they will sell the pit tickets seprerate from the package... but I think that is speculation... so keep looking.... I dont know... maybe I better just pull back from all of this... it would be one thing to live in the city of the show.... but adding airfare plus hotel etc etc even to NYC... ah... anyway.... oh well. Good luck.

Yes.....particularly regarding the £31.00 booking fee!

No, I'm COOL actually. I think it's all a bit silly really. I mean for heavens sake, have you seen some of the prices being asked already on the secondary market ? Hell, that makes £406 for nosebleeds look like a bargain .... so I'll take six please, and invite some friends !!

Only kidding, so f**k off !!

They can really go f**k themselves at £406 per ticket. I can buy another guitar for that amount of money and play all their songs to myself and probably get far more enjoyment out of it. I am fiscally not satisfied!!

So you think MightyStonesRolling50 made up that whole story about Keith threatening the promoters with a hangman's noose and getting them to agree to keep the ticket prices low? Gosh, I was so sure he was some kind of "insider" who knew what he was talking about.

That seems ridiculous to require you to buy two tickets. I don't like the tickets being offered in the AMEX sale either. I might wait this one out and see how viagogo looks as the shows get closer.

Was there already an AMEX presale for Newark? I ask this at on Oct 15 at 8:30am EDT.

Damn...Keith is so cool, looking out for all of us like that. I'm sure he did his best. Must've been that it was Brenda that overruled him somehow. Yeah, that's it for sure. grinning smiley

I paid close to £1400 last time for me, the wife and her sister to attend all three O2 concerts, and nabbed great seats every night.

Five years on and in the depths of the recession? Forget it.

I'm prepared to do a waiting game on this one. If they do play Glastonbury in 2013, I can't believe they won't fit in a few more gigs at the time.

...bit of a shame really, as the O2 is so easy to get to for me.
Maybe in November there will be a few spared on the market for acceptable prices.

For anyone paying £400+ for a ticket..I sure hope Keef puts on a better performance than in 2007.

And even £2280 since you need to buy at least two tickets...maybe a good thing as I was toying with the idea of going for it...silly me !

this is working by the way, but I tried it sometimes and it was way back for 406 so I treat my self once in a life time. Got row 6 whatever.

Frankly I'm not entirely convinced they're going to pull this one off. Looks like most of the O2, and certainly all of the good seats, are £406, a gigantic sum. That's usually the price of VIP packages for other big acts. Is that market price ? Maybe, but I've got a feeling they're pushing their luck...

Free presales tend to be a way of shifting mediocre but overpriced tickets

Wow, I can't believe there are actually people who are willing to pay that money and that they are even desperate to get the tickets for that money. I would not pay that money to see Elvis if he came back to live.

Don't get me wrong, I consider myself a big fan (I know it is relative) and I would pay a price that "normal people" would call insane, but this is a pure laugh. I payed about 75 Euro for a FOS ticket 5 years ago and I am sure that the value of the band and the show has not risen so much over the 5 years.

It is quite likely that there will be some shows the next year and I am truly looking forward to it, I will be there if it is at least a bit reasonable, but I would not go to the O2 in November even if I lived in London.

Also, I don't quite understand how this could "test the market" before a larger tour, since the target group is vastly different, the bussinessmen who can burn their money plust those couple of nuts who don't mind getting bankrupt because of one concert are not those who would fill the arenas and maybe stadiums during a bigger tour.

I am really excited that things are in motion, but really disappointed about the current development. This is not rock'n'roll, this is really the exact opposite what the Stones have ever been. That being said, I am looking forward to the next year.

No. They pull from the same base as everyone else at an on sale.

I think it's a good timing to make the concerts now, because X.mas is coming on its way and despite bad economy and what so ever reasons they will be the crowd will be there. Perhaps it will be only the IN crowd and perhaps it will be a concert where most goers don't even know the warhorse songs. But what the heck, they are going to be 70 next year and if this is the chance let it flow. I do agree that it is way out of price, but at the end of live you war only the shirt without any pockets anyway.
