I see the VIP package features post-concert snacks. I might have to consider it then.
Also note that standing tickets in the tongue pit are available as part of the VIP packages.

I'm under the impression that the 'price range' is in fact not really a range and that 106 and 406pounds are the ONLY prices. What gives ?

God it's embarrassing isn't it! Still doesn't stop me from wanting to go though. GRRR!
I don't know how they're expecting to get the young crowd in. Pay a few models to sit front row for the dvd probably.

I want to be in the Tongue Pit ! £950...damn, well dunno if it's the last time ever, it's only money, right ? Too bad that doesn't get you a meet and greet with Chuck or viewing of the soundcheck...

So where are these VIP packages up for sale ?

The ticket prices for the UK are UNBELIEVABLE - £106, £166, £246, £326, and £406. And yes, guess WHAT ? Even the ass end of level 4 commands ticket prices of £246, the end closer to the stage cost more.

F**k this .... in a nutshell. Max creativity called for here, wait until scalpers are desperate and/or ridiculously priced VIP tickets DO NOT SELL.

I've just been looking for tickets on the AMEX presale, a complete waste of time. Over £400 for the BACK of the floor, or else locations like block 110 (which is shit in itself) - the top few rows (V/W/X/Y/Z). Nonsense !

[ I want to shout, but I can hardly speak ]

We are all assuming the only way to get tongue-pit tickets is through Mark Butler, but let's wait and see what the other onsales bring. I think they might be £450.00 without the hospitality, which is still outrageous, but do-able if it is the last opportunity to see them live.

It is the perfect marketing strategy, people will panic and buy the Mark Butler packages not knowing if tongue-pit tickets will be available elsewhere!

I sense a PaulyW rant of elevated British Airways proportions coming on!

Before you ruin yourselves. I have a feeling that these four concerts are only a try-out for the band. If we are lucky, maybe they will do a larger scale European and US tour next year? At, presumably, more decent ticket prices.

Thanks, unfortunately (or fortunately...) you have to buy a pair, what's up with that?

Oh and it's £950+VAT so £1140 really...

Based on what's posted above no pit tickers will be sold separately?

Correct. These are special 50th anniversary shows and because theres so few of them, they're be able to milk it price-wise (the sad thing being that they have absolutely no scruples about doing so)

There should be a 'proper' tour in 2013.

I don't really understand what's going on... to buy a ticket you need to

1- be an AMEX client
2- have the "password" ?

is it ?

What the hell is this bullshit ??
