Never heard it. Will you post a clip of it?

It's an obscure deep soul number ..... can't see it anywhere on Tube

But ya can find it on the ACE/Kent comp -- When A Man Cries - CDKEND 176

Well, Rockman, thanks for pointing me toward this artist. I'd never heard of him before. Yes, I could totally see Mick & The Stones covering one of his tracks. This track posted below sort of has that I Got The Blues vibe about it.

Naaah the soul track the Stones should cover is the smolderin'

Kenny Ballard's - I'm Down To My Last Heartache...It's built for Mick

Rockman, I found it! When you click on the link, just click on the song title and an audio page opens. Yes, totally agree--this could be a powerful Stones cover. The Stones should do an album of obscure soul and blues covers, like they used to do with their first few albums, and include tracks like this.

And Keith should cover Howard Seratt's Make Room In The Lifeboat For Me
Recorded by Sam Phillips back around 1953 .... perfect for Keith

I didn't know the song before the Stones covered it, and I prefer the cover to the original.

Ain't Too proud to Beg was also a great moment of the tour. Always loved that one, from the Temptations and from the Stones.

Gotta pass on this one...reminds me of when they did "Night Time Is The Right Time" on the ABB tour in Melbourne...would much rather of got a Muddy Waters or Slim Harpo track..you know, the real stuff that influenced the Stones. (Yes,I know it was a tribute to Brother Ray who had recently passed.)
