Palerider22 this is serious, posting while drunk can land you in the slammer with other word offenders condemned to write over and over:

I will use spell check when drunk
I will use spell check when drunk
I will use spell check when drunk
I will use spell check when drunk
I will use spell check when drunk
I will use spell check when drunk
I will use spell check when drunk
I will use spell check when drunk
I will use spell check when drunk
I will use spell check when drunk

By the way, I love Black and Blue also, even when I'm not drunk.

Btw you are right about the 'sound'. It is a technically well recorded album except for the fact that the songs are a bit tame compared to the rest of their work. But the mix is absolutely perfect!

Agreed; one of the best recorded Stones albums IMO. The drums are superb, as as the vocals. I was so excited about the track sheets on innersleeve.

I remember when B&B was released in 1976, the reviews weren't great but I liked that record anyway. It was when I started to get heavily into the rolling stones so I didn't have too much a prioris about their music; I was young and open-minded. B&B is different; it has no direction, no focus, it is a collection of songs that have very little to do with "satisfaction" or "Brown Sugar" but they are very good songs. I know not everybody agree on that...

Eh, NO. You are were obviously too drunk if you think that.

I can remember reading a review which basically said of this album that The Rollling Stones were pretty much over. That prognostication was a bit premature. I like the album then and I like it now. I even like Hot Stuff although I felt guiltily about liking it.

I remember reading a review of B&B that said The Stones must have deliberately made a bad album so their fans wouldn't miss them so much when they quit. The writer assumed the Stone knew they were WAY too old to continue at that point, lol! >grinning smiley<

It's supposed to be what you will call "tame". Soundquality of Black N Blue, is together with Tattoo You; the best ever sound of any Stones album. The LPs that is; not the CD.
