He was also in the horror movie Asylum, and was excellent in that.

"can I use your phern?"

Afterlife should be invented just so Peter Sellers and Herbert could reunite.

Sad to hear. I guess the majority of the original Pink Panther cast has now passed on? But wow, that guy sure lived to a very old age and had a long life. Cheers to him.

Robert Wagner, Claudia Cardinale, Elke Sommer, Burt Kwouk, Graham Stark, Christopher Plummer, Catherine Schell, Lesley Anne Down, Dyan Cannon, and Bob Loggia are still among the living.

Sellers, David Niven, Capucine, George Sanders, Andre Maranne, Peter Arne, and now Lom are gone.

Behind the camera Blake Edwards, Henry Mancini, Maurice Richlin, the Waldman Brothers, Tony Adams, Harold Mirisch, Marty Jurow, and Lew Grade are deceased while Walter Mirisch, William Peter Blatty, and Ron Clark are still kicking.

That about covers it for the five Sellers-Edwards pictures.

He was the perfect foil for Cluseau. Who can forget the scene when Cluseau's fake nose was melting and both were inhaling laughing gas??

Cato - Burt Kwouk, was last seen in Last of The Summer Wine, a programme that jumped the shark in 1973.

Herbert Lom was also the Dr in the Chris Walken / Martin Sheen original Dead Zone movie; one of the great Stephen King film adaptations.
