Yes, she does look like Linda Thorson, but that hair, makeup etc are a common enough 60s look - there are pics of young Eileen Atkins which also look very like LT...

Now another question: who is the older actress? I sort of half-recognise her from 60s TV and films, but can't put a name to the face. Anyone know?

Show me a couple of your trumpet and/or saxophone recordings, then I'll believe you winking smiley

AND remember that the fantastic vocals wouldn't be as good without the harmony, right?

Surprisingly, Jimmy Miller is credited as back up vocalist together with Keith on several sites.

Ha Ha, I've only done one (1) Punk-style-single, and then I played on a white strat....smoking smiley

Would be nice to know what Millers contribution is on backing vocal...

Might be just the screaming in the beginning, but I think it's Jagger.

Anyone know what Jagger yells over the intro?

Great song! If I recall the many interviews I've read, I believe Keith said this is one of the first songs he came up with after discovering open tuning.

Looks like Eillen to me and why would she talk about it if she wasn't there?

Indeed, but some people are choosing to be silly billies.

The footage of Jagger at 1:09-1:10 of this video was also used in Tony Palmer's 1968 film All My Loving, and can be seen at 0:41 (in color!) in the following clip:

COTM is a great song, way too underrated IMO. I had never seen this video before, very cool!

Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind...
