The Beatles could just release the Purple Chick 86 CD collection of Get Back/Let It Be. It could retail for a couple thousand, and be called "The Super Super Super Super Deluxe Get Back: Every Fart, groan, chord, argument, lyric and occasional music recorded by the Beatles in January 1969" Newly remastered, this 86 CD 10 Blu Ray/20 DVD set is sure to impress even the most casual Beatles fan. You'll be there in the Studio with the most famous rock band ever as they record one of their last albums. This set is the end all to end all of Beatles sets. Complete with a 500 Page booklet to describe what your hearing and when you hear it, with new essays from the cameramen, and sound guys. Don't Miss it!

I've been waiting for that for years. There are no more excuses not to release again with extra fOotage, etc.

MMT is a fantastic album, and one of the rare Capital tampered release where the US version was better than the UK's. Yeah, they are singles collected, but what singles and B sides! Just Baby Your a Rich Man is work the entire second side! Lennon, while guest DJing on radio said..."I'm gonna play I Am the Walrus. I love it because it is one of mine...(chucking) and MMT is one of my favorite albums because it is so freaky!" I Am the Walrus is a phenomenal psychedelic opera of weirdness and beauty. so much going on in that song, I am sure it was a big influence on Dark Side of the Moon. The laughing, strange droning keyboard, the choir doing the backing vocals fading from channel to channel. And the wonderful mantra of "oompa oompa stick it up your jumpa..." made to sound eerily like "smoke pot, smoke pot, everybody smoke pot!"
