Speak the native tongue! For example, "How are you" in Spain is Howo areo youo?

Simply add "o"s to your words and you will feel right at home!

I've been to Barcelona last year and found 4 or 5 nice cd and recordstores with lots of stones material (live concerts etc.)! The stores are near the Ramblas (touristic part).

Oh and be careful of pickpockets!!

Barcelona is a wonderful city, from the centre you can even walk to the sea (metronetwork is superb).

Madrid is excellent. There are also some record stores clustered in one area around Gran Via. That's quite a plan you have. You'll see a great deal of Spain. Enjoy the tapas, the bar scene is at the top of my Spanish experiences.

Funny you mentioned Peru. My wife is actually in Lima as we speak. I'm headed up to Boston first thing in the morning. It's strictly business, but any ioorians that can suggest a good seafood restaruant would be appreciated. This is crisis mode trip ..but maybe I can nail down a Lobster.

Is this meant to be ironic? If not, go to Schiphol and fly to Spain!

Please keep in mind that the Spanish characetrisitics appear in different varities just as the Northern euros. For example, a person from Panama may look different from a person from Argentina. Just as a Swede may appear different from a German. To say any race is ugly defeats the purpose. This is earth now as it is like or not.

Thanks to the actual serious replies, I appreciate your input.

Pickpockets and housewives converted into hookers is what everyone is warning me about.

German men are also generally ugly. Flat big faces with fish eyes. It's not my fault, just my observation.

Btw I wasn't talking about race, and as I said: generally.

Add another week to your trip and enjoy some of the great places on the old pilgrimage route to Santiago. Burgos, Leon, Santiago de Compostela.

What's wrong with housewive hookers? Or do those 'warners' prefer professional hookers?

Hi Chris, there are lots of Legal Sea Foods restaurants in and around Boston and even at Logan Airport Terminals B and C.

Of course, that's the safe chain restaurant option. However, if you're looking instead for a touch of history and charm, then visit the oldest restaurant in America--the Union Oyster House on the Freedom Trail near Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

On the same street, for an aperitif or postprandial, you might also want to visit America's oldest tavern--the Bell in Hand (since 1795).

Enjoy your stay!

Where are the cheapest places to get lobsters? I remember these old gas station like places on the coastline that served twin lobsters for $12 years ago. They would give you a pot and bib and your on your own. Do they still exist?
