If it's funky horn instrumentals, I'd rather the Memphis Horns, or King Curtis.
However, it gladdens my heart that record labels, back in the 70s, were clued in enough to release albums by sidemen and session men.
I think there was also a Bobby Whitlock solo album at the same time, and also the first Memphis Horns solo album.

whitlock had a bunch of albums in the 70's...he plays a local gig at the saxon pub every sunday here...with his wife...cool guy.
