Between 00.05 and 06.40 CET Venus will transit the sun. The next transit will take place 2117, so if you want to see it now is your chance.
Venus and earth (Tellus) are about the same size. Here is a live broadcast from NASA edge, Hawaii: NASA TV

Yes, beautiful although I have to say that black speck in the top right hand side of the shot ruins it for me.
