The earth trembles, death and destruction has come relentless ......
Our people, our culture, our monuments destroyed........I hope this all stops.
I know that this is not the right place, but at this time are especially heartbroken over what is happening to my country

The epicenter was at the base of the mountain range called the Apennines, northern Italy. Many small villages have been destroyed ...... I am very sad about what is happening

Just heard about it on the Dutch radio news. It must be awful to be in that area. My thoughts go out to everyone who is hurt by this.

very sad, 17 persons, most of them workers, are dead and hundreds wounded ... houses, factories, monuments and churches as well as streets, destroyed. tonight and for more nights to come many thousands people will stay outside their inagible homes ... say a pray for the hard working people.

Here in Turin, in the north west of Italy, all is ok, we follow the bad news on tv. Trains run late in the zone of earthquake, people are assisted. Thank you very much for your interest.
