between both (brilliant) goals Spain wasn't playing attractively at all. But defensively and effectively.

Absolutely true ... especially effectively

Di Natale just had to score the 2-1. What a chance after about one minute.

Bitter for Italy, now they are ten men. Changing so much that early might have been a mistake by Pirandelli.

Ten Italians against eleven Spaniards. Chanceless. Prandelli has used all three substitutes much too early in the match.

Wow, how to blow a final. It's disappointing and boring now.

Congratulations Spain. All time record final win beating the German 3-0 win against Russia in 72. History has been made and who would bet against them going on to win more trophies?

Spain were lucky.

What a disappointing second half, with a negative leading role for the Italian coach Prandelli. Spain had no mercy with the remaining ten demoralized Italians. No fun at all to see that.

For me The Match of this EK was Germany-Italy.

Congratulations Spain. Very good game. Italy was too beaten after first half.

I agree, I doubt they could have scored 2 goals against Spain, even with eleven players!

Congrats to Mike Silver Dagger, the undisputed winner of our Iorr EK Pool, with 289 points!

He's followed by Bard Dandy Powderman and Jorden Verwer (don't know his nickname here).

And poor Sici from Italy still carries The Lantern.

It was fun. Thanks to Hansie for organizing the EK Pool here on Iorr.

Sorry, I meant 11 players, how difficult to understand.

Congratulations to Spain. I think that every coach from any national team in the world has no idea how to beat this Spanish team. They remind me of Michael Schumacher when he was driving for Ferrari. Before the race started, it was clear who would win. Well, all the teams have two years to figure out a way how to win from Spain. Good luck.

Absolutely a great victory for Silver Dagger. No doubt about it. Congratulations to him indeed.
Thanks kleermaker. Yes, it was fun. Maybe something to repeat in 2 years for the Worldchampionship.

Portugal had the best opportunity. They blew it in the PK's.

I also think they hid their cards during the first rounds and then boum patatra during the final.
It's quite impressive to beat Italy 4 to 0 !
