If you're curious about whether Mick and Ali McGraw had something with each
other there are lots of ways to word it. Or do you honestly believe that if Mick and Ali
McGraw did a tryst, some kind of relationship it could be summed up as Mick
Jagger "nailing" Ali McGraw? That does seem to come out a bit on the infantile side of the tracks

But he wasn't 'nailing her'. He was married to her - that's different. I think Bliss is right, Mick seemed to tend to have these random 'affairs', flings or whatever with the easier targets - the Bebe Buells etc.....
Like Beatty, Nicholson - they were involved with amazing, formidable women like Julie Christie, Angelica Huston etc....but they seemed to go after the 'chicks' who were less threatening when they were on their 'hypersexual' rampages......they also hunted in the same circles so the most likely they 'nailed' the same 'chicks'.
I guess we could pontificate the underlying psychological implications of very intellectual men playing it 'safe' with easy women etc.....
That's their downfall and probably why all three old goats eventually lost those amazing women.

Ali's singularly most alluring feature was her eyes in my book, they had a magnetic smoldering quality (in a Kate O'Mara kind of way) that was so tangible it even came across in celluloid. Other than that nothin' too special.

Agree the term nailed is crass.
I liked Ali because she captured the essence of the time with her looks but not so much with her acting. It's hard to tell if she could've become a great actress - as posted, she missed her "time."
I usually lump her together with the likes of Katharine Ross...long on beauty, short on talent.
