At Home In Paris - L'Wren & Mick's Place

L’Wren Scott opens the doors to the City of Light aerie she shares with Mick Jagger—a space she designed to her own exacting tastes.

Thanks for posting that was a cool read. The comments she makes about the bathrrom suite bought at auction and packed away with his stage clothes at the country house give a glimpse of Stones history as well as how Jagger lives.

Plus, I love Paris and always felt at home there so I'm a little jealous.
I guess I need a vacation....

Interesting. Thanks for posting! A few striking images. And man that woman has long legs! It is interesting that there isn't much of a masculine touch to her style. I like some of it, but some of it is just a bit tad too high school girlish with frills. The study looks like the nicest room. And the bathroom is beautiful.

The Damien Hirst "works" stand out like a pimple on Kate Moss's face but the rest is tasty.

Thx!

Lifestyle of the rich and famous. The result, however, is clinically dead and impersonal. Surely a perfect overnight flat for a streetfighting man like Sir Michael though...

Thanks for the link. I once read Jade Jagger say (paraphrase from memory), "I tried to make it as an artist for five years, and I got absolutely nowhere. And then I switched over to the fashion business, where immediately everyone began groveling at my feet."

After I read that quote, I was curious to see at least one of Jade's paintings. But despite Googling about, I couldn't find even one painting. (I guess she really did get absolutely nowhere!) So now I finally get to see a Jade painting (below; the one on the wall).

That's the 1%.
I fail to see though why he dates her.
You need to be at least 2 meters to appreciate her. He must like her character.

It's ok, not offensive. But yes bland, it's a bit like a hotel.

Someone posted a link a while back of photos of Nellcote. I think it was an estate agent's website advertising the place to rent (presuambly onbehalf of the owner). That was interesting viewing - amazing to see the various rooms and the back terrace with the columns. Does anyone have the link?

I can't believe anyone would put white paint on an old French parquet floor, as if it was some shabby chic beach house.

Any apartment that large, light and spacious would feel great to be in, but I have little doubt I could create a much better environment at only a fraction of the cost.

However, I admit that L'Wren's Hollywood storybook house was fantastic and perfect in every way. That place must reflect her taste, with no consideration for Mick's, so maybe the boring, all white and grey French apartment is what he wants.

I am happy for good ole Mick, good for him for finding a companion he is happy with.... but... What is the old saying??... "A miserable (creative) talent is the most productive"... maybe Mick is too happy to want to write/perform pissedoff rock and roll songs.

Spot on ,Bliss !
What a shame .

The appartment looks very classy indeed but it looks like if nobody's leaving there - too much white ,no lively colors apart from the ecarlate curtains in the bedroom .

The bathroom looks like a morgue -too many mirrors & glass.

I am a Frenchie ,as Mick affectionately called them in the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977 .

white is calming.

maybe
why the sanitariums used to be all white

anyway, do you think the rose petals in Jade's matted design were inspiration for the Rose Petal Confetti of the licks tour?

I think so, too.

But then again, who should actually live there? Another possibility would be, that they have a real living room somewhere else in the apartment....and it is not show in the pictures....
