And don't forget that the brilliant arrangements of she's a rainbow, 2000 light years, 2000 man, Citadel et al were produced by the Stones themselves, with no George Martin helping
Well, John Paul Jones helped out on the arrangements on She´s A Rainbow - so they had a little pre-Zeppelin help there
He partly just copied Brians mellotron part for that.
