We saw Charlie at Massey Hall after Keith was there with the Winos. Keith was there in '92 so I'd say Charlie was there in '94-ish. (I don't feel like running upstairs to locate my ticket stubs.) But it was a terrific jazz show. Bernard was there as well.

The tour was called 'Long Ago And Far Away' I think.

I remember the entire night clearly (just not the year!). Did you see a woman in a Winos t-shirt reaching up to shake Charlie's hand at the stage? If so, that was me! And then, waiting at the back door (in front of St. Michael's Hospital) waiting to say 'thanks' to the band. That was the night I met Bernard.

Toronto is such a cool, music city. cool smiley

When tickets originally went on sale last week I was one click away from ordering two tickets. The close to $150 price tag for 2 tickets (& the fact that I live in FL) discouraged me. I was not that familiar with Charlies side projects so when home that night & youtubed some stuff. Love Uncle in Harlem! Next day had regrets & on Sat night they put more tickets on sale so I picked up two for Sunday night. If I can't make it I can alway give to my brother in Brooklyn who would most likely go ..as the is pre 4th of July weekend and many folks take the week off.

Hope to see you all there on 7/1...

More tickets have been released for all 8 shows! Grab them now, if you're going! The Iridium only holds 140.

just call the Iridium directly...no "handling fees" added to the ticket price.

I was able to get two seats to one of Charlie's shows this morning.
