Loog, right! Sorry typo and that would have been almost Nixonian if he managed stacking those Macca's RAM. Gripweed, to you, actually Lennon and Macca did make up. Macca often says that one of the things he is so happy about is that him and Lennon made up. Macca had a period of time where he was frequently visiting Lennon at the Dakota. But Lennon after a while snapped at him and those visits ended, but they remained close and spoke often on the phone.
However, the sad story is that during the recording of Double Fantasy, band members and Jack Douglas, the produceer, recounted how Lennon was feeling very sentimental and often spoke of wanting to team up with McCartney to write again. Then McCartney called the studio one day to talk with Lennon and Yoko answered and said sorry John can't talk and hung up on McCartney. Jack Douglas also had a falling out with Yoko after Lennon's death. Now they are on better terms. I did read a very interesting interview with Douglas where he recounts on the night of Lennon's death he told Douglas something that he will never repeat and it haunts him till this day. I would love to know what that was.

tatters, DESS released a cdr version of the ultra rare Brazilian only "Abbey Road" MONO LP but I really dont have the "smarts" to know if its a fold down or not. It does sound different tho! (Guess according to this is was a fold in(down?)
I also went back and checked-there was a Brazilian MONO Let It Be too.(fold down again? I guess)

It has to be a fold down. True mono mixes of Abbey Road and Let It Be were never made and do not exist.

It's not a fold down! A dedicated mono mix of Ram were done for the AM radio stations. Some interference occured while testing a fold down.
