Gosh! Never seen that before. Definitely some high quality '70 footage there. Would be priceless on a complete '70 dvd à la Some Girls in Texas.

How do you know it's 1970? Anyway I'm doing a 1970 video thread ASAP so maybe that footage will turn up (if i can find it).

Mick's clothes tells me it's from the 1970 tour

Not all of it is from '70 but plenty of short parts. You can easily see it on their clothes. The pants and shirt Jagger has in the still picture you see when the video is off are unique for the '70 tour. I believe Wyman only used that orange Mustang bass on the '70 and '71 tours, but I'm not sure. You can also see Bobby and Jim Price (?) at one time, and they weren't along on the '69 tour.

It sure is 1970, and probably Paris, although the backstage footage and roof of the building also looks like Rai, Amsterdam.

Keith in the red shirt : probably Paris, but unsure.
most important part of the footage (Keith in white silk shirt) : Rai Amsterdam. Have a look at Stones People Europe, issue #1

Wow - find of the year so far. Just when you think that you've seen everything something like this suddenly appears. It would be great if one of our resident Stones sleuths could track down the person/company who filmed this.

A complete gig from 1970 would be mind blowing.

I have a feeling I saw the backstage footage on a seventies photographers website, just forgot who it was..
I guess there must be more of this...
About the live clips,Im sure there must be more of this,in some private collection..

The clothes are '70. But many 69 and 72 clips too. The video of the 70 is outstanding though, and never seen by me. To me a 70 gig released would be a Holy Grail - no question. The audio alone...

Well the amps are ampegs so that rules out Lyceum and Saville Theatre shows as they used Hi-Watts.

This has got to be from either the american tour 1969, or europe 1970.

Charlie has his tom tom on a Snare stand, maybe someone knows when he started doing this?

I believe with the exception of rented kits he has the tom on a stand from the very early days on.

The amps changed for those few UK gigs, Hiwatt, Fender and Ampegs were used, but yeah the pic is from 1970.

The tom is attached to bass drum for most if not all gigs up to 1970 European tour.
