Wow - this is so cool & interesting to read - Ha - I like the Gravesend comment - and I had to look up Coeur d'Alene - thought it was some funky island - who knew it was Idaho.
NICOS - I watched the video but needed translation - was that you on the scooter?
And hey, Mr. DJA - you followin' us? My husband will be happy to hear that we're not the only ones who moved from the Cape to TN.
This is great stuff!! I guess we should pick somewhere in middle of everyone to have our party - can't let those SHIDOOBEES have all the fun.
Yes - I want say it was on the same rail line that I took from out of London to Tunbridge Wells - but that was about 15 years ago - a little foggy. But we used to drive to Beachyhead on the weekends (we missed the sea)Quote

You weren't far from there in Tunbridge Wells...about 20 or so miles......( I think)..
Ha - I have to laugh about the fried catfish. When we first got here we went to a "fish fry" and here I was stupidly thinking it might be a variety of fish - nope just cat. I still can't quite warm up to it...doesn't seem like a "fish-fish." I miss my sword! I don't miss the winters in the NE but these tornadoes are scary things. I'm lucky - I still go back to the Cape every summer to escape the Memphis heat!Quote

Memphiscats: When I saw your post I kinda thought the same thing... With me just a bit east of y'all! Mom & Dad have now retired to S. Yarmouth so I still get back every now & then & will always consider it to be part of "where I'm from". Except for the winter, I wish I could still call it home. As my wife (native Tennesseean) says "more fried fish & Ice Cream than any place on earth". Not sure she's 100% correct but I do know they've got E. TN beat!
Peace,
Mr DJA
