57 years ago this week Mick took a phone call. On the other end of the line somebody invited him and his mates to play at the Marquee on July 12.
"What is the name of your band?"
"Eeeh, Brian, your the leader ..."
"Eeeh, The Rollin' Stones"
We all know it, but still after 57 years .......and the other day they played "Ride 'm on down" in Foxboro, USA, just like they did 57 years ago. Am I dreaming?

It is a remarkable success. The odds of a rock and roll band lasting that long and that popular in 1962 would have been non-existent. Thanks to the stones machine and the audiences, we kept that thing alive and growing.
