Not much here. One new photo and Mick is looking very vital and happy. M says his Docs have cleared him for the new tour.

That's a little dramatic. What 75 year old DOESN'T look tired?

So you agree? It wasn't meant to be a jab, but at his age it's probably something that's on his mind daily. Personally, I think he should quit touring and focus on studio work and maybe an laid back club show now and then.

Being photographed in the sunlight after you turn 40 is guaranteed to make you look like a decomposing corpse. All your wrinkles and bags will be accentuated, and Mick has more than most.

I think he looks tired and droopy most of the time when he's not onstage. This photo doeesn't look appreciably different than other recent ones of him, even before surgery.

Well, either the doctors have cleared him or he’s fighting for his life, can’t be both.

The music world is full of lost souls cleared by private physicians. Selfish people just want a show and could care less about anything else.

True, but I don’t think Mick is one of those souls.

I think he looks ok but his color is not great. This is to be expected for someone who recently went through surgery or a procedure.

I believe Mick is smart enough to get back onstage when it's right for him. No way he's going to do anything before that. No need for us to worry in my opinion.

bottom line. To announce the tour not only has Micks’s physician said he’s good to go but I’m sure Several Doctors working for the insurance company insuring the tour have checked him out several times. No one is going to insure a tour for millions if the band member is expected not to make it. And although Mick has an ego I really don’t think he would risk his life or health at all on a star trip to complete this tour. He’s got plenty of money and a family that adores him. Yes he loves the money, yes he loves the admiration but he loves his kids and family more. If the tour is a go it’s only because Mick is 100% physically and emotionally. I am thrilled to be seeing them up close one last time in Foxboro( 2 kids finishing college so I’m financially strapped) This band and it’s members owe me nothing. They have rewarded me through a life time of memories that I cherish. If any band member is not physically or spiritually 100% up for the tour I would tell them it’s ok don’t tour. We love you and your music unconditionally and always will. Don’t kill yourself on a tour. Spend your last 20 years or less doting over your kids, grand kids, and great grandchildren.

Huh. So what could they care less about? Climate change? Tariffs? Red light cameras? Another Stones compilation? I'm sure there are a gazillion things people could care less about.

Mick looking his age now, and with heart disease it seems the Peter Pan of Rock is mortal after all. That makes me realise my own mortality, depressing.

Exactly. If he was still at any risk his docs wouldn't of gave him a clean bill of health lol. As well... if he still felt tired he wouldn't be going back on the road ..

It's good to see his recovery is going well and to see him feeling good again. Thanks for the thumbs up, Sir Mick.

In fact, this is the most interesting thread at this site at the moment, despite there`s so little in it for the fans.

So all good in Stonesland. Mick's fine again. So we can all go back to complain about the setlists, their greed, the lack of effort in regard to a new Rolling Stones album, etc. etc. Business as usual. grinning smiley

I don't think Sir Michael should perform anymore. Medical reasons is one important factor, another one is age and the fact that his voice doesn't hold up anymore.
Do these postponed gigs, if it's possible, then call it a day. That is my advice to His Knight Commander. I'm sure he will have plenty to do anyhow.
