have you seen ladies and gentlemen? he introduces him and the whole band there. on some bootlegs of this tour he does it too

couldnt remember one way or the other. thanks. so we know jagger at least sometimes
introduced the band in 72. but every time? i was at msg 72 but again have no
memory of this one way or the other? what about 69? ever? what about 75? every
time?

I would say in 1970.
I don't remember any introduction before.
But he did in 1970, juste before "Bye Bye Johnny"
"And Keith Richards on guitar..."

[www.nzentgraf.de] here a band introduction is listed for most shows in 1972, some 1973 australian shows and only 2 european shows 1973.

In 1975 and 1976 a band introduction is listed on nearly every show!

For the 1969 and 1970 tours there is no band introduction listed and on live at leeds 1971 we can here one. so maybe that tour was the first time jagger does it?

was it the El Moccambo show when Jagger was introduced the first time on stage by another band member ?

and was jagger ever introduced by any other than ronnie? did he ever introduce himself like he did on his solo tour ("and my name is mick")?

And when did they actually start with this? Any expert around to name the exact place and date?

I still remember vididly the Mick with

"Keith, of course, is completely straight" from Still Life and Keith's double Dutch of

"Nix verstehn, why Ich liebe Dich, Mick Jagger" during VL 1995 in Schüttorf.

I know Mick introduced everyone in '72, as well as '75 - '76. On most things I've heard from '78 he usually said something like, "I think you know everybody up here. There's maybe a couple people you don't know.." He then proceeded to introduce Stu and Mac. From '81 on, he introduced all players on every tour.

Ronnie Wood's gay.

Keith, of course, is completely straight.

Well in the late 60's Mick used to introduce just Charlie and he would tell the audience the title of the next song. Funnily enough Charlie sometimes got it wrong - it's on one of those early Paris or Hawaii boots I think.

True nashville: in Honolulu in '66 they had Charlie introduce the next song, and he announced it would be 'Last Time,' and they had played that only two songs before! Brian Jones started laughing loudly and said it would be 'Lady Jane.'

Mick had Charlie introduce a song in Perth 65. Charlie left the drums to come to the front to do it. Nobody could understand what he said, to me it was just a mumble, lol.

what are some of the best lines Jagger has gotten off during the intros?

from memory, i think mick has called charlie "mr. wang dang doodle" and the
"wembley whammer". is that correct?

plus there's "they love you ronnie. they really really love you."

and who could forget, about wyman, "just wants to take pictures of girls' legs"

he's called Keith "the Honky-Tonk man";
in '75 Ronnie was "from the Faces pop group", which was pretty funny;
more recently he's been "the Rembrandt of rock", "the Rubens of rock" and probably other R-tists as well :E
at shows with Ernie Watts, i always enjoy "on the drums - no relation - Charlie Watts"
and let's not forget "the bedevilling Bill Wyman"

yeah, some good ones there, almost all well known, and which need not be repeated.

but any ones from lesser known boots is what would be most interesting to me.
