It has been a couple of years, and tastes change, so what is your favorite brew these days ?

Mine hasn't changed much, I still drink this most weekends:




....but sometimes when I want an American brew (not Miller or Bud ) I look for this:



So what are YOU enjoying these days ?

Over the last couple years Ive acquired a taste for Racer 5 IPA. But the thing with that stuff is you shouldn't have more than two Pints or else you'll get a terrible Hangover. For something lighter I like Blue Moon. Good Old PBR is still a favorite too.

Amstel (not that crap Amstel Light product sold in the U.S.) when I'm in the Netherlands. SINCE YOU STILL CAN'T GET REAL AMSTEL IN THE STATES!

Kilkenny, wonderful creamy brew. Love it. Especially with a spicy curry.

Strange brew of course.

The Swedish Brew from the Nynäshamn Ångbryggeri called Indianviken Pale Ale.

Cascade all over it and with their famous yeast, it can NOT simply be beat.

The 2nd one is Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier from Bamberg, Deutschland, YUMMY!!

3rd is Hop Yard from The Stockholm Brewery Nils Oscar. 7,3 % and it taste like a real good strong Real ale.

Nothing from Belgium, England or America comes close to these three at the moment IMHO.

Kozlak (Amber Brew from Poland)

Nothing fancy, just very good.

I've beend drinking Rothaus Tannenzäpfle from the Black Forest area of Germany, which is a bit more bitter than a normal German beer (my opinion, at least) but not as bitter as what might be found up north.

During the winter months I enjoy a dark Weizen beer as well. I prefer Erdinger but generally get Shöfferhofer since I'm in Frankfurt and it's plentifully stocked. A nice Guiness does the trick as well when it's colder outside.
