Three Simple Yes/No Questions For All Hardcore Rolling Stones Fans
Posted by: thewatchman ()
Date: January 15, 2012 02:39

Looking for a simple YES or NO to the following questions.

#1. If you were given the choice of whether the Stones be recognized as the greatest rock 'n roll band of all time or the Beatles would you choose the Stones?

Please understand I am not asking (nor am I interested) in whether you consider that title important, silly, meaningless, mythical, non existent, or whatever. Just if you had to choose between one or the other, which (Stones or Beatles) would you prefer to have that title attached to.

#2. If you preferred the Stones, would you accept a free T-Shirt as a gift with a concert ticket? It would proclaim: The Rolling Stones 50 Years 1962 - 2012: The Greatest Rock 'N Roll Band Of All Time.

#3. Would you wear this T-Shirt in public and at Rolling Stones concerts you attend?

Please, just a simple Yes or No.

Still with the need to have this "recognition". Who is this august body that will finally bestow this official "greatest" recognition on the Stones and make you happy?

Beatles will not be surpassed, that's just the way it is. But after that The Stones are the greatest "still living" band. And we're lucky to celebrate the 50th anniversary. Why push it, bet the Stones themselves would say Beatles are on top!

Your honesty is very much appreciated. Your answer to number #1 is obviously no.

#1 Yes. However, the Beatles weren't a rock and roll band much after they left Liverpool and Hamburg, or maybe when they quit touring. They were the most creative band and put out some incredible music but, although a fan, I never really considered them in the same category as the Stones.

#2 Yes

#3 Yes

1] sure thing!
2] no - first off, it should read 1962 - Forever, with no question mark at the end.
and second, since the statement's true whether or not one agrees with it,
why should getting one be contingent on agreement? give 'em to everybody!
3] not a yes/no question. if the statement were corrected and if the graphics and cut were cool enough,
i'd wear it in public, and at work (i'm an educator, so it behooves me to wear educational t-shirts)
but not at Stones shows. i never wear Stones shirts at Stones shows. they know who they are and they know i love 'em :E
