One truly great song on an album is often enough. To be fair: The Stones haven't managed that since 1981. "Undercover of the night" comes close, but no cigar.

Try "Amie" by Pure Prairie League.

Young Americans is a great album, IMO
The only Bowie album that belongs in this thread is "Tonight". "Loving The Ailien" is excellent, the rest of the album is not.
....apart from Blue Jean; so maybe not even "Tonight" fits in here

That's two that have said Undercover Of The Night. I wish I had the drugs y'all are takin' because that is so far removed from the truth it's beyond funny.

All of Trans was terrible & so was Reactor, although T-Bone was amusing.

And I actually like the title track as well to the two you've mentioned...but the album as a whole is pretty dull.

In fact there's only one. I think it's on the CD version it's named as part 1 and part 2. On vinyl there is just one song 45 minutes.
Thick As A Brick will be performed live in its entirity this spring.

I used to like the title track, "Tonight", when I got the LP as a youngster, but after hearing Iggy Pop's original version, I thought/think Bowie's version is absolutely uneccessary.
"Neighbourhood Threat" even more so - allthough I didn't like Bowie's version to begin with. While it's a highlight on "Lust For Life"

I have read on several occasions how Jimmy Pages cites Presence as his favourite Zeppelin album. I've always found that to be a little suspicious. It's not a terrible record, but IMO, there isn't a single stand-out performance.

I haven't listened to it in some time...isn't it a duet with Tina Turner, or am I thinking of something else?
