OT: An appreciation of the late Gene Clark

Nice read, even if it is from some time ago if the link date is correct. Considering the thread on the "Sweetheart Of The Rodeo" tour here I thought y'all would enjoy this. I really got into listening to his music for awhile. A number of his songs float through the permanent mix I keep adding to on my Walkman. His "No Other" is still a great listen and cosmic cowboy music at its finest, IMHO. BTW, the article alleges the Stones copped the riff for "Wild Horses" from Gram Parsons. I'm sure this premise has been discussed here before.

But there is no riff in Wild Horses, is there? smiling smiley
