I have Ludlow, Atlanta, Fillmore, & Eat.
The forgettable material is post Brothers & Sisters. Brothers & Sisters is excellent, and Dickey Bett's solo album Highway Call, released circa the same time, is a country-rock-bluegrass gem. Also, circa the same time is Gregg's first solo album Laid Back, which is another quality album.
You have a long gap until the early 00s when Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes start firing on both cylinders.

You liked everything by the Allmans in the 70s: would that include Allman & Woman by Gregg & Cher ?

That'll be something to buy in the new year, in addition to some Brad Mehldau that I want, and hopefully some Stones archive box sets, and also some, albeit wishful thinking, Talk is Cheap with extra tracks, Main Offender with extra tracks, Johnny Cash Bootleg Series Vol 4, Bob Dylan Bootleg Series vol 10 (Hopefully an incendiary live gospel recording from 1979/80). I can but dream.

It should be like the Allmans archive recordings, or NYAS (Neil Young Archive Series) or the Bootleg Series by Bob Dylan.
What it shouldn't be like is the Beatles Anthology series; you had to get past Vol 1, then wait almost a year for 2 which had the Strawberry Fields outtakes, and finally another year for 3.

Ok. So I exaggerated a bit.
Dylan should be due a new bootleg series soon: its been a while.
