I think is ok now.

a Fender Squire Telecaster Standard and a small Fender amp. It´s a good guitar. How I am not a true guitar player is ok for me.

a Shelter Stratocaster and a small Sheldon amp. Isn´t a great guitar. It´s a cheap instrument but is ok if you are a beginer.

"I want it ...fancy doing a trade on 1972 Tele deluxe"

I would, Crumbling, but this is my favorite guitar right now, and I already have two Telecasters.

The pic says it all open-g and illustrates very well indeed why Gibsons are prone to headstock breakage...

They indeed are, and the Gibson acoustics have a weakness in the bracing where the neck joins the body. It tends to collapse. Aw, love 'em anyway!

At least the neck and headstock in that picture are all from one piece of wood.

Cheaper Les Pauls (Epiphones and possibly some Gibsons) make the neck from two pieces of wood and the headstock is glued on at an angle.

They do this to save wood in manufacturing but that join is also a common break point.

Just be aware, never prop it against an amp and never drop it (get good strap locks)
