He wrote The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test about Ken Kesey and The Merry Pranksters journey in the 1960s, The Right Stuff about the American space program, The Bonfire of The Vanities and other. His trademark look for awhile was a white suit. He coined the terms "radical chic" and "the Me Decade" among others.
And "The Girl Of The Year" in which Warhol starlet Baby Jane Holzer attends a Stones concert in NYC 1964. She also hosted a party for them but not sure that's covered in Wolfe's piece.
