Yes, they're great, really project, I use them on a Martin DSR and it really rings out with great clarity and balance (Martins can get bass heavy, imo). That said, they're not cheap but definitely worth checking them out and seeing if they work for you.

So the question is are the Ernie balls better than the Elixir or D´addario coated.
Because of the high costs. Or what are the difference in playability?
