If you don't tell us we'll have to make it up and before long, that WILL become the 'actual' version!
Saturnus1980, next time you see Charlie Watts in an airport, please take a photo with Charlie holding up a newspaper (dated from that day) with "Hi Treaclefingers" written on top of it. we require this for verification of sightings.

When I met Chuck and his wife in Oslo and we were walking along chatting, it was suggested by Chuck to take a pic.
Rose took the pics and I took a couple of them with her camera.
He put his arm on my shoulder before I did the same. I think that is just good manners really.

its great to see pics like these, thanks for posting, good to see that Charlie
is gracious ..
but I have to think there was a bodyguard for him , nearby.. or maybe he refuses that, when traveling for his horse trips. I don't know..
and Shirley was nearby, surely..?

yeah that's very cool, thanks for posting. I'm just imagining my reaction to being at the airport, getting ready for my flight and there straight ahead of me is Charlie.
Can you describe how that interaction started? Did you just approach him and say "excuse me Mr. Watts, we're lifelong fans and were wondering if you'd take a picture with us?"?
