Interesting read on a different time, a different world, a different us (the baby boomer generation). I read numerous what were then called "underground newspapers" back in the day. You could find them in head/hippie shops and independent bookstores. I think I have a few packed away along with original issues of "Rolling Stone" magazine from the late 1960s through mid 1970s when it was viewed as a "counter-culture" publication.
