This is the first I read about Ron Wood playing on this.

But all I have heard so far about the 3rd album by the band of Steve Jordan and his wife Meegan Voss, The Verbs, is that the title of it will be "Cover Story" and the producer's name is Dave O'Donnell.

And to those not in the know: there is no Ronnie and no Keith on the two previous albums by The Verbs, "And Now ... the Verbs" and "Trip". Just Danny Kortchmar, Pino Palladino and Tamio Okuda. All 3 of them did tour with Steve and Meegan in Japan a few years back so they can effectively count as band members, not guests.

Ronnie has stated in one of his radio shows, that after the Crossroads Guitar concerts, he went to Chicago and made recordings with the Verbs.
So there is no reason to joke about this thread.

Jeroen,

I don't know when it's being released, but here's the session info held right after Ronnie's appearance last year at the Crossroads Festival (info courtesy of Nico's great site). For those that don't know The Verbs is a band consisting of Steve Jordan and his wife, Megan Voss (although it doesn't appear she attended this session). Pino Palladino and Taio Okuda are regular sidemen, labeled The Adverbs. This appears to have been a session backing the great Hubert Sumlin doing a Muddy Waters classic written by Willie Dixon.

26th - 27th June 2010: THE VERBS. Chicago, Illinois, Chess Studios.
Producer: Steve Jordan. Engineer: Niko Bolas.
- You Need Love (Willie Dixon)
Line-up: RW (gtr)/Steve Jordan (dr)/Hubert Sumlin (gtr, voc)/Pino Palladino (bass)/Taio Okuda (gtr)
