Though his son carries on the tradition who is an excellent musician in his own right.

Oh no....I saw Lonnie play many times. A class act he was, and yes his son carries the flame forward. Not many of that generation left.

RIP. Only saw him once but definitely enjoyed it. Time to turn is records up loud tonight.

Yeah, I got to seem him, I kid you not, on a bill with Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Koko Taylor, and BB King. He was the opener and really kicked things off on a high note!

Later saw him with his son who was doing some real Stevie Ray type of stuff.
