this would be a great one because this tour was always a source of frustration for me.i bought black and blue the day it came out and listened to it nonstop. they did,hand of fate,hot stuff,hey negrita and fool to cry on the 76 tour but by the time they made it back to the states in 78 it was gone,not one song left from black and blue in the setlist.i never saw them do anything from it until memory motel in 99.

if they could clean this up and maybe get the footage from the tv special and combine it they would have a great documentary of the 76 tour.a one-off for sure,the black and blue tour.the stones really need a full time curator.

Amen. Yes somebody should get hold on the best possible tape and clean it, add (buy) every little piece of footage from every possible production company (interviews etc).

The shows were filmed by Freddy Hausser for a french tv channel so who owns the copyrights?

The owner of the copyrights?
IMO. It's filmed by Hausser by permission, (hiring in for to do the job) but I think Rolling Stones are owners of the tapes.

This looks like the same source, picture-wise and sound-wise, as the DVD I have.
