Yes, now when we know that Richards is making his solo album ( with all the Stones except Jagger ) it's obvious that SuperHeavy doesn't interfere with the Stones plans, doesn't get in the Stones' way. how many posters here have been written.
Now these reasons are irrelevant and you can listen to the SH album with an open mind. And then you can passionately love the new Richards solo album!
With not listening to music with an open mind one only harms himself.

Yes, I think it's more they won't even give it a chance...too 'angry' (which is an odd emotion I think to have here), at MJ for 'delaying' the Stones next project/tour/album.
Mick has done something really good here, and the 5 of them have clicked well. I'd love to see what a follow-up album might produce.

Yep, the harmonica solo is definitely a plus!!
But I go for the song SUPERHEAVY which sounds like rock and world music @ the same time!
Interesting....judging something sight unseen, or in this case, sight unheard.
It seems as though you have some remarkably keen observational powers in being able to judge things without experiencing them.
But I thought you were a fan of Mick? Why not give him a chance? I'm really enjoying the cd.

Rock Me Gently and World Keeps Turning are my favorites.
After those, I like Never Gonna Change and I Don't Mind.
Third fav's group are Beautiful People, I Can't Take it No More, Superheavy, Unbelievable, Satyameva Jayathe, One Day One Night
Least fav's are Miracle Worker and Energy.
I need to hear the four bonus tracks more to decide on those.

I lOVE ENERGY and MIRACLE WORKER and the song SUPER HEAVY and honestly there's only one song, I think it's the #6 track, that I don't like much. I admit to being pleasantly surprised at how much I love this cd! I can't believe that deep down even those who claim to hate Mick's solo material would not find at least 3 tracks that they'd like here!

superheavy cd is brilliant,jagger is the star on the cd he is singing or playing on most of the tracks,i am pleased he got involved in this project and leave all the the bullshit to richard,what way to treat your so called BEST MATE. Its only rock-roll,enjoy

The ballads are really starting to grow on me...never disliked them, but with a few repeat listens, the melodies really stick, and ALL the performances are stellar.

I haven't yet decided my favorite song, but I really think Mick does first-rate rapping in the brief sections he raps in the songs ENERGY and HEY CAPTAIN (the bonus track—#16—on the deluxe edition). He spits out those syllables very quickly and capably.

I really like Warring People, Mahiya, One Day One Night, Unbelievable, Hey Captain... Actually I like almost all songs. World keeps Turning and Never Gonna Change are a bit weak I thought. And it's the first time I can listen to a whole Stones-related album without my wife telling me to stop the music.

9 and 7 years old...I do have to give it a rest....a lot....No other song is sticking around the ranch.
I don't like the vocals on "Never Gonna Change". Top strained and twisted for me.

Miracle Worker, Rock Me Gently, Mahiya, One Day One Night (perfect Tom Waits material if ever there was)... I like a lot of this album now, even if it's a bit 'club' for me...
Really liking SuperHeavy itself and Jagger's harmonica on Energy is his best playing since seeing them do Rambler live - full on!

I Can't Take It No More and perhaps Common Ground were for me the only weaker cuts.
