i think, there will be great sales. "eurythmics" and dave Stewart-Fans will buy. there are a lot of joss stone-Fans---they will buy. Damian Marley will find the "reggae"-fans. A.R.Rahman -a superstar in India!!
last but not least mick jagger: I think, 20% of the rolling Stones Fans will buy.

so--really good sales, i think
in Europe at least in the top 5 in netherlands and germany next weeks in the charts..

So, Waiting on the next "NEW" Rolling Stones-album---and there will be a new-one, i am sure.

Bu, somehow it's OK if we hear about every peep MT makes. Odd, seeing as he isn't a Rolling Stone anymore.

Yes indeed it is. Mick Taylors playing, style and ability to play ROCK AND ROLL (with the stones) will make him a stone forever. SH is world music and rather lame world music at that, The press they get on this site is bothersome. Please more MT stuff No SH stuff is my vote. peace.

Quit bothering you with this stuff? Strange because unless I'm mistaken it seems that YOU are posting on the SuperHeavy thread on a regular basis. Ifyou don't want to be bothered by it then I'd suggest that you don't post on it's thread instead of constantly going on there to whine about it.

I don't understand why someone that has been posting for 3 months is telling everyone how and where they should post.

So....it's not cool if both SH and MT have a place at IORR? Man...you people have a misplaced sense of entitlement.

Not everyone, just lame, negative posters (and SH posters) like yourself treacle fingers. Can't expect you to understand much. I mean you actually probably like SuperHeavy and have given us posts that are about as interesting to read as the obituaries in last weeks newspaper. Start by trying to understand yourself, if you are brave enough, bye now. seeya.

Well more toxic charm and wit from you, hardly surprised. How can I say this nicely...would you please extract your self from my azz and stick it up someone elses. Maybe get outside a bit, breath something besides the drama and stale air you are obviously gettin by hiding behind that keyboard. You want to see funny, go check out the Miracle Worker video or read something that seriously mentions SH in the same sentence as Rolling Stones. That is funny. peace.

Re: The Sales of "Superheavy"-Album

NL, I have to agree with Havo and treacle here. Yes there are way too many SH threads. Yes - SH is watered down 'world music', that is going to make the golf players feel like they are embracing Third World culture.
But its a Stones site. There is nothing happening re. Stones. And Jagger is the biggest Stone. So what he does today will always be news here. His news ranks higher in the Stones hierarchy than MT. The purist in me sees the fault, but the realist in you and me knows.
And the sales picth and techniques used by SH right now, I think, are being watched by more than just Stones fans. For the last few years all artists have been trying to digest the new world and find the place for an album release in it. Radiohead, Prince, Noel G are names that come to mind.
Meanwhile we are all just waiting; for some announcement. I think we have exhausted all our off-season Stones topics.

It will be in our local supermarkets soon for $2.99. I will use it as a coaster for my Pelligrino.

Let me know, when you find it out, Rockman, so I can get my prescription.

So virile, the Prime Minister. And again, I don't get how S&P could downgrade a country's credibility that is run by such a stallion of a man. Shouldn't the rating better be AAA+ instead?

"The taped conversations revealed in extraordinary detail how parties involving dozens of young starlets and escorts were organised for the Italian PM by a 36-year-old middleman, Gianpaolo Tarantini, a convicted cocaine dealer. He was recorded telling Tarantini in October 2008 not to worry about paying the women too much, because they were already “well looked after”. In one conversation taped by investigators in early 2009, Berlusconi told him, “Last night I had a queue outside my door, there were 11 of them. I only managed to do eight of them, I couldn’t manage any more. You just can’t get round to all of them. But this morning I feel great, I’m pleased with my stamina.”
