Ed was manager of Eddie And The Hot Rods and set up Speedball Records for Island in the late 70s (he was brother of Mark Hollis, of Talk Talk fame). I have written an article on Ed and Speedball and have a magazine that wants to publish it but we are held back by lack of photos of Ed. Can anyone here help ? Manythanks

Sorry - no photos but i look forward to reading it. I saw the Rods many times and for me they were the true forerunners of punk.

I remember queuing up to see them at the Marquee back in summer 76 - the night before Queen's Hyde Park gig - and thinking that there was a new youth movement on the way.

There certainly was but unfortunately the Rods got lost and ultimately crushed in the rush.
