Michael Cohl

Michael Cohl was far more harmful to us fans than he was to the Stones..........
Which makes him controversial.

You don't have to guess anymore. Everything you ever wanted to know about David Schneiderman, the Riddler of Redlands, is in the new book, "Freedom Spy: David Jove and the Meaning of Existence," by former Billboard editor Ed Ochs. [www.edochs.com]

Why is Christopher Gibbs controversial?

I share the confusion with Bliss.
Gibbs is an Old Etonian, an old friend of Jagger and Richards, he was the godfather of one of Mick's kids. If I am not mistaken, he wrote a chapter in According to the Rolling Stones and contributed in Groovy Bob(Robert Fraser book)

I think you have to define 'controversial' in this context.

It could mean unexpected, incongruous..someone who stands out as being very different from the RS and everyone else around them. Prince Rupert would be in that category.

Or it could mean disruptive and destructive, someone whose presence and actions threaten the stability of the group. Freddie Sessler and Anita would certainly fall into that category.
