Rockman used "Stupid Girl" at his wedding. He's divorced now...

Well she did turn up to the altar wearing overalls

Sleep Tonight is kind of a nice and tender song by Keith!

LoFL! Sleep Tonight is about wanting to do someone serious damage -
it sounds like a lullaby, but listen to the words!

truly, better stick with Little T&A, She Said Yeah and Jump On Top of Me
(Heaven would work too, in a pinch)

My wife and I had our first dance to "that's how strong my love is" as someone else mentioned. Not an original, but it is a top 5 Mick vocal performance on a studio song in my opinion. I wanted something stones, my wife picked it and it was a perfect choice. Plus, since I am not one to enjoy having everyone I know stare at me while I do something I'm no good at (dancing) it's only about 2 minutes long.

You Can't Always Get What You Want....

Little T&A? Happy? Slave? Plundered My Soul?

Maybe more like Waiting On A Friend.

it was our wedding anniversary last Friday.

My wife walked down the aisle to Honky Tonk Woman. Was fantastic. We kept it a secret and it set the day up perfectly, the guests were laughing and enjoying themselves straight up.

Then during the service we used Say You Will, and we walked out to Sweethearts Together.

At our reception our first dance as husband/wife was to our fave track Mystifies Me - Ron Wood.

great times.

Under My Thumb...covered by a female singer to reflect the new reality for the groom.

Sweethearts together is really the only one I can think of..Stones have many ballads but many of them are about missing someone or losing someone or something innapropriate for a wedding

PS..I can't blame your bride keith's voice would clear the reception room!

Make your bride happy & pick something traditional

In that case, I would go with Gomper.

Sad Day

Haha, Sad Day is funny. I play in a band that does weddings at times, and we did one recently. They make me sing most of the Stones tunes we do (I'm the drummer). We did Dead Flowers, You Can't Always Get What You Want, Under My Thumb, Get Off My Cloud, Miss You and Satisfaction. Lyrically, many Stones songs aren't "appropriate" for weddings, but people are usually well juiced and not really paying all that much attention. They just want to dance.

Stray cat blues! Imagine the face of the bride's mother when Jagger sings "I bet your mama don't know that you spit like that!!"

grinning smiley

Now let's turn serious... Sweethearts togheter, sure will be on mine!
