Very good article in today's Guardian on-line

And it mentions a health issue that has been rather impolitely mentioned here a few times - so now you know!

Well, to quote Aretha Franklin:

R-E-S-P-E-C-T

Lisa is a beautiful person, and this article shows it again.
Sorry to read about her problems, but I am in awe about the way she overcame them.

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

"being jokingly reprimanded by Jagger for eating raw garlic before singing with him on stage"

Funny Gérard Depardieu used to chew the same stuff before he had a bit of dialogue with an actress on the set...

So did Diana Rigg in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, prior to kissing George Lazenby.

I heard Lisa interviewed on some public broadcast program recently and was touched by her story.

It's a story many can relate to, but I think it is unfortunate that she seems (many do the same) to think she hasn't achieved enough because she's not center stage. Neither is Charlie, many have no clue who Bernie Taupin is, and so on,, there are few Mick Jaggers, due to luck and circumstance. It's just the nature of a band, life. And I could get philosophical, but suffice to say- we all have an irreplaceable role to play.

Lisa amazed me twice last summer and really hope she plays again with the Stones or at least in Chicago so I can go see her again.
