It probably would've been in 1969 too...if they'd released it as a single. Their most well-known album-only track perhaps (or is it SFTD).

Gimme Shelter was recorded in the 90s I believe by a group of artists including page 3 girl to raise funds for the Shelter charity.

SFTD was released as a single? Not properly though, as in, at the time when it would have made sense. Brown Sugar was released as a single in 1971, and then again in 1984 - only no one noticed the 1984 release. And I wouldn't count those SFTD remixes as being a single release in the true sense of the word. They did that with Don't Stop, a proper single release.
