The Rolling Stones brengen mogelijk nog dit jaar een nieuw album uit. Het laatste album van de legendarische rockband, A Bigger Bang, dateert van 2005.
Volgens gitarist Ron Wood (68) is de band onlangs in de studio aan het werk geweest en heeft het viertal zowel nieuw materiaal als enkele bluescovers opgenomen. Bij de covers zitten nummers van onder anderen Howlin' Wolf en Little Walter.
De leden van de Stones, al sinds 1962 bijeen, waren maandag in Londen om er de tentoonstelling Exhibitionism: The Rolling Stones te openen. Meer dan vijfhonderd voorwerpen uit de geschiedenis van de band zijn te bekijken in de Saatchi Gallery: kleding, dagboeken, instrumenten, foto's en videomateriaal.

According to guitar player Ron Wood (68) the band has been working in a studio recently and the foursome recorded both new material as well as some blues covers. Amongst the covers are songs by Howlin' Wolf and Little Walter and others.
The members of the Stones, together since 1962, were in London this monday to attent the opening of the exposition Exhibitionism: The Rolling Stones. More than 500 objects form the history of the band are exposed in the Saatchi Gallery: clothing, diaries, instruments, pictures and video's.
