Like watching Ed Sullivan on Sunday night to catch music acts, this was a must watch show for many baby boomers. Music of all types was mixed/played just about everywhere on the radio in those days, though, you did have your separate country/soul/pop/rock stations. Dig the original Stones in one of the clips.
